The Youth Café is pleased to welcome Tracy Mwangi as a new member of the Advisory Board.
Tracy Mwangi is a graduate of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) where she acquired a degree in Computer Technology.
Tracy Mwangi is a technology entrepreneur, mentor, and coach whose passion is assisting individuals in realising their ambitions and ideas by enabling them to express and represent them in their special ways. She helped with pitches at the JKUAT Tech Expo. As a pitching coach, She helped aspiring developers better express their ideas. This brings together young people from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, enabling them to appreciate the numerous parts of getting products to market.
Beyond running Zynamis Limited and Guiderig Solutions as the Co-founding C.E.O she also served as a Director at Switch Media Limited and chairs the Digital and Marketing Committee as well as sitting in the Finance Committee.
She was awarded the 1st runner-up in the Safaricom AppWiz competition in 2015 and named the Vodafone upcoming Appstar developer in the same year.
She is a member of Kayana, a community of female entrepreneurs of abundance that come together to move their businesses from ideation to start-up, that assists young women in businesses with relevant skills.
Her main interest in serving as an advisory board member is to bring the voice of the youth to the conversation on the board. Tracy strives to be the voice needed at this point and be a true testament to "For the youth, by the Youth".
Tracy is enthusiastic about the chance to collaborate with talented and imaginative teams at the Youth Café. She believes that serving in this advisory board will allow her to better guide on pressing matters facing the youth and better understand - in-depth, other issues facing the youth beyond her current scope of the technology and entrepreneurship sector.
