Global Media and Information Literacy Week, commemorated annually, is a major occasion for stakeholders to review and celebrate the progress achieved towards “Media and Information Literacy for All”. The UNESCO MIL Alliance is inviting all MIL CLICKers, MIL CLICKS followers, the MIL Alliance Youth Committee, and other individual groups to attend a virtual award ceremony on the UNESCO MIL CLICKS under the theme “Having Fun with Media and Information Literacy!” It would be held from 16-18 of December. The Youth Café‘s digital/media information literacy projects with African youth have won FIRST place in UNESCO GLOBAL AWARDS!! Over the years The Youth Café has undertaken projects and activities to further digital/media information literacy among the youth in Africa.
