Worrying Patterns of Abductions And Enforced Disappearances in Kenya

There have been thirteen (13) more cases of abductions or enforced disappearances in the last three (3) months bringing to eight-two (82) the total cases since June 2024. Seven (7) of the recent abduction cases were reported in the month of December 2024 with six (6) of them still missing, bringing to twenty-nine (29) the total number of persons still missing since June 2024.

Kenya Signs Global Fund Grant Amounting To USD 407,989,068 (KSH 59.7 Billion) To Support HIV, TB & Malaria Interventions

Kenya has today signed six Global Fund grants amounting to USD 407,989,068 (KSH 59.7 BILLION to support HIV, TB & Malaria intervention and strengthen health and community systems during the implementation period of three years (July 2024 to June 2027).

An overview of agreed commitments and announcements from the Africa Climate Summit, On 4-6 September 2023, the Government of Kenya and the African Union convened the inaugural Africa Climate Summit in Nairobi. Commitments were made by governments, the private sector, multilateral, banks, philanthropists, and other organizations, that set out concrete, systematic, and sustainable plans to make the step change that is needed to progress towards Net Zero and international climate goals on finance and adaptation.
