Design For Peace | Action For African Environment Conservation.

On the 13th of April, The Youth Café, in collaboration with African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), will launch a Sino-Africa Youth Dialogue themed Environmental Protection in Africa With The Youth Action, a "Design for Peace" Global Peace Initiative that emphasizes empowering young people to see and act on global sustainability challenges across geographies and cultures. The event aims to enhance participants' awareness of environmental issues in Africa, inspire youth to come up with environmental solutions, and build connections between the public and the practitioners in the workshop.

National Youth Summit 2022 | Magnifying The Visibility Of Youth Leaders.

The Youth Summit on Magnifying the Visibility of Youth Leaders is a unique in-person event designed by young people for young people convened. The summit was convened by the International Republican Institute and The Youth Café and organized with strategic partners' support. The three-day summit has called on young people from all over Kenya to discuss the needs of youth that will integrate into the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022.

The Youth Cafe is inviting youths to participate in this free virtual Global Climate Action Challenge. In March 2021, student groups in the Challenge stream ideate solutions that help contribute to addressing real-life climate challenges. Choosing from one of the Problem Statements, Teams then have 10 days to work on their solution. Datathon stream for passionate students with data analytics skills to develop actionable insights and predictive models will also be hosted online. This will help contribute to climate solutions through the use of data. Teams will be provided with prominent environmental datasets used by climate scientists and two prizes of CAD$4,000 & CAD$2,000 on offer.
