In collaboration with International Republican Institute, The Youth Café is working to have the drafted Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022 validated by a selected youth jury. The legitimacy of the youth jury process and the validity of its recommendations is critically contingent upon the extent to which youth jurors are representative of the broader community, as the purpose of the youth jury is to discuss issues of cultural diversity from the perspective of young people. The salient demographic features are the applicants' lineage, educational background, gender, and socio-economic status.

We at The Youth Café wish to invite you for a virtual workshop on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, between 10:00 am - 11:30 am EAT, where the discussions will dwell on the research results and begin discussions on further investigations. The webinar will cover; the key takeaways from the experimental findings, recommendations on how to identify mis- and disinformation and curb its spread, and a feedback session highlighting areas for further analysis.

The Regional Youth Summits on Magnifying the Visibility of Youth Leaders are unique in-person events designed by young people for young people convened.

The Youth Summit on Magnifying the Visibility of Youth Leaders is a unique in-person event designed by young people for young people convened. The summit was convened by the International Republican Institute and The Youth Café and organized with strategic partners' support. The three-day summit has called on young people from all over Kenya to discuss the needs of youth that will integrate into the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022.

The Youth Cafe is planning a design activity that aims to gather input from key local stakeholders to inform the program design of Youth Excel – a U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project, implemented by IREX, The Youth Cafe, and consortium partners. The project aims to empower young people and youth organizations to drive local development by using implementation research—a type of research that focuses on collecting data during a program to improve the program in real-time—to strengthen local, national, and global development solutions.
